Like my Fallen Feathers Hat, this cowl is inspired by the walks my son and I love to take in the woods. We enjoy finding special treasures on our walks and fallen feathers are our favorite keepsakes to find and collect. For a great handknit set you can pair your Fallen Feathers Cowl with the Fallen Feathers Hat. Or, wear the cowl alone as a stunning statement piece. Knit in Myak Tibetan Cloud, this 100% Tibetan Wool is a natural beauty, creating a lightweight yet very warm fabric. Beauty and function come together in this special knit.

    NOTES:
    • Worked in the round, this cowl uses a provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch grafting. You are essentially knitting a tube and then closing it up when you finish.
    • Stranded colorwork knitting often tightens ones gauge; therefore consider going down a needle size when working Stockinette stitch. Should you choose this method, you will need needles in one size smaller than gauge needle.
    • A finishing tutorial called “Fallen Feathers Cowl - Finishing Demo” available on the Knitterella YouTube channel.
